About a year ago, I (Sarah) was hit with a floral vision inspired by clean, glowing, white light of a freshly fallen snow. I’ve always been a Winter girl, and the season and its light captures my heart every time. Effortless and timeless, I could immediately envision a bridal bouquet of all white sitting in freshly fallen snow. That’s where it all began.
All white florals don’t have to be boring. The bridal bouquet, earrings, and draping wrist piece have style and edge all their own thanks to amazing texture and blooms. Bleached ruscus and bunny tail gave texture, while white garden roses, dendrobium orchids, anthurium, and fringed tulips stole the focal-flower show. The bouquet was also packed with accents including sweet pea, helleborus, scabiosa, ranunculus, and carnations.
And let’s be serious- a hanging cloud installation of white hydrangeas and painted plumosa would be a striking addition to your ceremony, and provide so much floral impact hanging over your dance floor at the reception!
In terms of the bridal look, I had been a long time fan of Sweet Caroline Style’s two-piece bridal masterpieces. The Cordelia skirt and Willow crop provided the unique style and contrast to bring our inspiration to life. (So grateful to have The Bridal Parlour as a haven for Bridal style!) As for the rest of the bridal look, luminescent makeup was a must with opalescent highlights and just a hint of sparkles in her hair. (We were so incredibly lucky to have Savanah Summer work her magic with us.)
We want our couples to feel empowered to bring their style out on one of the most important days of their lives. The sky’s the limit on what that looks like. White Out is just one inspired example. Enjoy!
This team of creatives is so passionately gifted. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who brought this vision to life!
